All Are Safe

Just to update you...we have recieved word via text message that those we know in Haiti are safe.  The children in the orphanage felt the earthquake, but there was no damage to the area of Pignon and all of the children are well. 

Our main contact from Pignon was actually in Port-au-Prince and was outside fixing his car when the first earthquake hit, but he is fine.  Knowing that our friends are safe is wonderful news, but we still grieve for those we do not know in Haiti, especially the many children in orphanages in Port-au-Prince.  It is the poorest country in the western hemisphere and most live in abject poverty.  They have no way to help themselves.  Please continue your prayers for them.
